There are many things to look forward to if you are lucky enough to be spending the summer in Hanover.  One of the things that I look forward to is the Hanover Area Farmers Market.  Details follow:

Location: Dartmouth Green
Date: Wednesdays (June 1 – October 12)
Time: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce has an information page for the Farmer’s Market.

The Farmer’s Market offers locally-grown food (fresh produce, meats, herbs, and cheeses), flowers, plants, baked goods, locally prepared food, local music, and crafts.  The agricultural vendors include Bunton Family Farm, Robie Farm, Cedar Circle Farm, Thompson Farm, Hogwash Farm, Four Corners Farm, Luna Bleu Farm, and many others.  Prepared foods are available from Allechante, Vermont Crepe & Waffles, Cornish Duck, Mama Tina’s Tamales, among others.  Crafts vendors and demonstrators include Mary’s Mixed Bag, Swallowtail Woodworks, Beads & Baskets, and more.

The Hanover Area Farmer’s Market is one of the perks of a Dartmouth summer that should not be missed.  I’ll see you on the green (feel free to thank me for this post by buying me a tamale).
