Shirley Zhao Joins Kresge Library

Kresge Physics & Astronomy Librarian Shirley Zhao

Wondering who’s that new person occupying the middle office in Kresge?  It’s Shirley Zhao, who begins work in Kresge today as Physical Sciences Librarian with liaison responsibility to the Physics and Astronomy department.  We’re very excited to have her join our staff, and have ordered up some especially nice, mild early spring weather tomorrow morning to welcome her.

Shirley has just completed a master’s degree in mathematics from New York University’s Courant Institute, as part of a dual degree program with Long Island University’s Palmer School of Library and Information Science, where she completed her MSLIS (master’s in library and information science) in 2011.   Shirley is really looking forward to working with Dartmouth students and faculty, so stop by and say hi to her on your way through Kresge!
