GeoRef To Change June 15th

GeoRef’s New Look

An important database for researching topics in the geosciences, GeoRef, will change to an updated interface this Friday, June 15th.  The new search screen allows you to more easily set filters like document type (e.g., journal article, conference paper) and to consult GeoRef’s extensive Thesaurus of detailed, specific descriptor terms.   You can also choose to search only for figures, images, charts or tables within the published earth sciences literature.

Try it out!   The official changeover date is Friday, June 15.   This platform update will affect not just GeoRef, but all ProQuest databases that the Library subscribes to, including the Environmental Sciences & Pollution Management databases, ProQuest Historic Newspapers, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses, and many more across all research areas.
