Higgs Boson

The world news exploded with reports of the discovery of the Higgs Boson on July 4 (if you missed the CERN report, read it here!). At the Library, we have several books that tell the story of the search for the Higgs.

Dartmouth alum David Kaiser ’93 wrote about it in his senior honors thesis titled “Inner space, outer space, and the Higgs sector.” This past spring semester, the Department of Physics and Astronomy invited a couple of guest speakers to report on the search.
