In December, I challenged you to write your CV/resume in LaTeX. Today (February 4) at 5-6pm, I am holding a workshop in the Kresge Conference Room on polishing your CV/resume and sharing LaTeX formatting tips.
Top 4 Reasons to Attend
- Vital for job hunting, internship search or graduate school applications.
- Great practice working with LaTeX! When you’re ready to write your thesis, dissertation or first scientific paper, formatting will be a breeze.
- Get tips to create the layout you have been dreaming of!
- Cookies and chocolate!
For First Time Users
If this is your first time using LaTeX, please make sure your computer has a TeX distribution installed. I will not be troubleshooting installation problems during the session so please click here to get started (warning: this may take a few hours, but don’t let that deter you!).
I will be using TeXworks for this session, but there are tons of editor options. Here’s a sampling of editors that you can download if you don’t like the one that comes with your distribution.
